Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy at Brunel exists to be a spiritual, pastoral and community resource for the whole University and is there for those of all faiths and none. It is based in the Meeting House and is often buzzing with students and staff engaging in community, “spirituality” and faith activities.

The Chaplaincy runs regular events throughout the year to promote faith, engagement and understanding as well as community building and charity events. There are five chaplains from a range of different faiths who are available for anyone in the University community to talk to about spiritual, pastoral or welfare matters, but many people just drop in for a cup of tea and a friendly chat.

There is a Quiet Room that anyone can use for personal or small group prayer or some space to think, a coffee area where you will normally find someone interested in whatever you’d like to chat about and a large meeting room that is used by religious and community groups. The Chaplains also ensure there is provision available for daily and weekly prayer for students of different faiths outside of the Meeting House.
