Easter opening hours

The Library opening hours for the Easter period do not follow the standard pattern for vacations and are slightly different to the opening hours for the University. The last day of term is Friday 26 March and the Library closes that day at 9.00 pm. After this the vacation hours are as follows:

* Extended hours opening is for self service and reference only.

Term time

The Library is OPEN from Sunday at 12.00 (noon) to Friday at 21.00 and on Saturday 10.00 to 17.00.

The full range of Library services is only available between core hours i.e.

Monday to Friday 08.40 to 21.00
Saturday 12.00 to 17.00
Sunday 12.00 to 19.00

At all other times the Library is available for individual study and borrowing of material through the self service terminals. Library use and video / DVDs are not available for loan outside core hours. The Law Library is only available during core hours.
 

Vacation

The Library is open Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00.
 

University closed days

The Library will usually close on those days that the University is closed. Over Easter the Library will close for just two of the five official closure days. These are shown in the table above.
 

When the Library is not open, you can still access information through our library website or renew your books online

Visitors

From 23 November 2009 Brunel University Library moved to term-time extended hours. Please note that our term-time staffed hours remain as follows:

Monday to Friday 08.40 - 21.00
Saturday 12.00 - 17.00
Sunday 12.00 - 19.00

Outside of these hours your visitor card will not permit you access to the Library.
