intro2uni day 2012

Every September, the Disability and Dyslexia Service at Brunel University run an  annual intro2uni day for disabled students coming to Brunel. This year it will be held on Tuesday 11th September 2012, 11.00am – 4.00pm.

The aim of the day is to make the transition to university life a bit easier by giving you a chance to visit the campus, sample a lecture and seminar, try out the technology available to support you with your studies, find out about other facilities available at Brunel, talk to current Brunel students and meet other new students.

We can also make time to help you apply for the Disabled Students Allowances if you haven't already done so. Just make sure you bring with you evidence of your disability or specific learning difficulty and we can help do the rest.

All disabled students who have a confirmed place will be sent an email inviting them to the event, so if you think you might be interested in coming and have your place at Brunel confirmed, we'll be in touch. In the meantime, if you would like any more information about the day or anything else that the Disability and Dyslexia Service does, please get in touch on 01895 265213 or email disability@brunel.ac.uk. Please note, the day is only for students who have a confirmed place at Brunel to start this year - if you are just thinking about coming to Brunel, see detail of the university's open days.
