Vision2020 Food Helix Launch Event

The Vision2020 Food Helix Launch Event that Brunel University London is co-hosting and supported by CSEF and the Brunel Business School.

Brunel is taking the lead on the new Food Helix Horizon 2020 Work Programmes which is an initiative focused on challenges related to food and agriculture. The purpose of the 2 day programme is to bring together a network of business, industry, academics and researchers to develop new collaborations in the food sector. You will learn from the Vision2020 Director, Abdul Rahim, about their plans for developing the network; hear about the world-class research taking place at Brunel University London in the food sector; have the opportunity to take part in themed sessions related to food chains, bio-based business models for rural communities, food systems in Africa, climate smart and resilient farming – and hot topic at the moment – sustainable solutions for bio-based plastics on land and sea. And there will be plenty of time for networking and discussion over lunch and dinner!
