This lecture will explore the politics of equality, diversity and inclusion at work from a comparative and multilevel perspective. Charting out the last two decades of equality and diversity work across a number of countries, Professor Özbilgin appraises the turbulence in politics of equality and diversity. In particular, it will highlight how the politics of diversity and equality at work interfaces with political, social, and economic life. Exploring various strands of inequality and their intersections, the lecture will discuss the organisational interventions which may be used to tackle them.
