Not Attending
Why do I need to tell the University that I am not attending?
You need to inform the University if you are not attending so that arrangements can be made to send your certificate to you without delay following your ceremony.
How do I inform the University that I am not attending?
You can inform the University that you do not plan to attend your ceremony by completing your eVision Invitation Task.To respond to the task in eVision you will need your student ID number (printed on ID card) and then:
- Go to https://evision.brunel.ac.uk
- Enter your username (your username is your student ID number without the /1, /2 etc).
- Enter your eVision student portal password (or follow the on-screen instructions if you have forgotten your password).
- Look at the list on the left hand side of the screen and click on “my Graduation”.
When will I receive my certificate if I do not attend Graduation?
When you view your award in eVision you are able to see when your award is due to be conferred and from what date your certificate will be available.
If your award is conferred before Graduation, you will be able to request to collect it from the Student Centre or have it delivered to an address of your choosing.
If your award is being conferred at Graduation, your certificate will be made available for collection from the Student Centre or for posting as soon as possible after Graduation.
Please make sure that if you wish to collect your certificate or have it posted to you following Graduation, you make the appropriate request via eVision when you view your award.
If you do not request your certificate it will not be automatically produced
Can I still attend Graduation if I have received my certificate?
You are still able to attend Graduation even if you have already received your certificate but you must respond via your eVision task to inform the University that you wish to attend.
