Brunel Senior Research Fellow Dr Guy Gratton joined other international aviation experts in an hour-long Discovery Channel Documentary into the fate of Air Asia Flight 8501 broadcast to 220 countries in Asia this weekend (12/13 April) from India to The Philippines.
In the progamme, Flight 8501: Storm Disaster, Dr Gratton re-created in a light aircraft the mid-air stall which is believed to have led to the fatal crash which claimed 162 lives at the end of December 2014. More details can be found at http://www.discoverychannel.co.in/flight-8501-storm-disaster/
