Health professions on top as Brunel surges nationwide

Brunel University London has cemented itself as the finest place in London to study the Health Professions, as it made significant gains nationwide in the Guardian University Guide 2019.

The west London university was recognised as the city’s best place to study Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, whilst also ranking in the capital’s top three places to study English and Creative Writing, DesignBiosciences, Music, Education, HistoryAnthropology and Sociology, plus Electronic and Electrical Engineering.

Across all courses, Brunel was ranked joint fifth amongst London’s elite universities. 

Nationwide, Brunel made significant gains, moving up the league table 14 places to be ranked 58th out of 121 universities, with Anthropology, English and Creative Writing, Music and Health Professions all ranked amongst the top 10 in their respective tables. 

The Guardian University Guide 2019 was compiled by independent company Intelligent Matrix, and ranks universities according to what they consider most important to young people – quality of teaching, student satisfaction and employability.
