Hornchurch graduate wins Oxford award

Daniel, Ullswater Way, Hornchurch, won the 2009 Undergraduate Physiological Sciences Conference Prize Talk Competition, under the auspices of the Oxford University Physiology.

It's been quite a year for Daniel, in May he received an award from the Physiological Society to enable him to carry out his research project over the summer and he was the winner of the Brunel University Prize for best overall student in the School of Sport and Education.

His talk was on performance exercise in an oxygen-deprived state.
