Tata Global Beverages launches Re-Imagination Scholarships

Viña del Mar: LAE International

Tata Global Beverages has launched the Tata Global Beverages Re-Imagination Scholarships at Brunel University.

The Re-Imagination Scholarships provide financial support to students who are positively shaping their future by studying for degrees Brunel, and are available to students who have been part of the Urban Scholars Programme. The Programme has a strong track record in raising the aspirations of able  young people aged 12-18, many of whom come from socially-deprived areas where their talents may not necessarily lead to good examination results and a successful caree, by generating additional opportunities for students to enhance their academic performance, self-confidence, critical thinking, team work and presentation skills.

The Scholarships form part of Tata Global Beverages' social mobility initiative, a long-term commitment to creating fairer opportunities for young people to achieve their potential, and are a first for the company, the corporate brand behind iconic names such as Tetley Tea, Eight O’Clock Coffee and Tata Tea. The University's campus is a stone’s throw from the Tata Global Beverages head office in Uxbridge.

Scholarship applicants were asked to submit short essays on their perception of the meaning of “re-imagination”, Tata Global Beverages’ brand essence.
