Brunel University awarded EU funding to launch new design project
The project will equip 150 participating SMEs with open innovation techniques and access to Brunel researchers, laboratories, testing and prototyping facilities, making a significant impact on their design capability and business performance and helping to integrate innovation and design into new product and service developments.
Andrew Ward, Director of Corporate Relations and Co-Innovate Project Director, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded this funding by the ERDF. This project builds on the outstanding work of our Design department and reinforces the University’s position as a driver of business interaction and innovation in West London and beyond. Through the project we will be able to equip a range of forward-looking SMEs with the up-to-date design thinking that will enhance their competitiveness.”
