Graduate support

We're here to help you for up to two years after graduation

One minute you’re focused on finals, the next the big wide world of work is beckoning. The Careers team is on hand to bridge that gap…

So how can we help?

  • Access to graduate vacancies from around 4,000 employers. Please email careers@brunel.ac.uk to obtain access giving your student number, course and date of graduation
  • Get practical support throughout the job hunting process
  • Continued access to our daily 15 minute Quick Query appointments - ideal for CV checks and quick advice
  • Longer one-to-one guidance appointments with your specialist Careers Consultant who can identify target roles and work with you to create an action plan to get started. They can also help you to prepare for interviews and assessment centres
  • Don't worry if you live some way from campus as you can opt to interact with Careers Consultants by Skype, 'phone, email and, of course, face-to-face
  • Graduates who have moved on to study at other UK universities are encouraged to use the Careers service of their current university. During busy periods, current Brunel students may take precedence
  • Graduate events including the 'Uncovered' industry insight sessions, recruitment fairs, employer pop-up stands and workshops on job-finding strategies and understanding what employers are looking for
  • Follow us on Twitter or like our Facebook page
  • Take a look at the InfoBytes blog giving events/activities and resources
  • Get in touch - just email careers@brunel.ac.uk or visit us on the 1st Floor, Bannerman Centre (Library building)
