I am currently Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) Human Resource Management - Organizational Behaviour and have CIPD Academic membership. I obtained my PhD in field of Industrial, Work and Organizational Psychology from the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands on the topic of Trust in Organizations, and an MSc degree in Social and Organizational Psychology from the ISPA Institute, University of Lisbon in Portugal. Before joining Brunel, I held academic posts at the Technical University Delft and University of Tilburg both in The Netherlands. I am also visiting Associate Professor at the Research Institute of Personnel Psychology at University of Valencia in Spain.
My research focuses on trust in organisations and its impact on performance, innovation and well-being in organizations. I am co-founder of the Innovation Collaborative Research Network (ICRN) that studies innovation at work and employee well-being across Europe in collaboration with Maastricht University (The Netherlands) and University of Valencia (Spain). I have won funding from various research councils and leading foundation bodies including The Leverhulme Trust Foundation and by NASA - Johnson Space Center in the USA. I am a member of several editorial boards of impactful ABS 3- and 4-star journals and currently serve as Associate Editor for the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology (ABS-3-star). I also Associate Director of the Innovation, Diversity, Employment and Law (IDEAL)- Interdisciplinary College Research Group.

I have experience of departmental management roles, including in my current role as Division Lead: Organisations and People. Previously, I have been Director of Postgraduate Studies (2010-2013) and Course Director for the MSc programmes: Human Resource Management and Human Resource – Employment Relations (2008-2010).
