  • 2005: Membership of the Technical Working Group “Research Needs”, advising the European Commission on research strategies on Environment and Health for the period from 2006 to 2010 (SCALE – European Environment and Health Strategy)
  • 2005 – 2006: Member of the Scientific Committee of the “Weybridge +10" conference on endocrine disruption, 8-10 Nov 2006, Helsinki, Finland, an event organised under the auspices of the Finnish EU presidency
  • 2006: Elected vice chair of the 2008 Gordon Research Conference on Environmental Endocrine Disrupters
  • 2007 – 2008: Member of the National Research Council (US National Academy Sciences) panel on “Cumulative risk assessment for phthalates – the tasks ahead”
