Project description

The project aims to identify the most cost effective alternative VIP core composites. The project is being delivered through computer modelling, material characterisation, experimental optimisation of core composites, manufacture of VIP cores and VIPs in Brunel lab and their testing to validate the performance under room and accelerated ageing conditions.

Impact: IP and patents will be generated and the adoption of the VIPs in commercial products currently available in the market is assured.
