Welcome to Water Sustainability Research Centre
Water Sustainability Research Centre (WSRC) was created in November 2011 with a mission to undertake rigorous and relevant research into interdisciplinary aspects of water sustainability. WSRC is a university-wide hub for carrying out internationally recognized research, and acting as both a laboratory facility and research space for multi-disciplinary students, particularly future PhD researchers.
Problems associated with water resources, access, distribution and quality have been identified as being amongst the most important global issues for the coming fifty years by a variety of bodies. Allied problems of water scarcity, water / land rights, and water security also have wider implications for communities across the globe. WSRC will help address these issues by researchers undertaking key research into improved sustainable water systems of the future.
