Delegates arrive at Brunel for the 5th Brunel/ESAB “developing excellence” workshop. In October 2009, a £200+k contract for CPD was awarded to Advanced Manufacturing & Enterprise Engineering department of the School, by ESAB, an international supplier of welding and cutting products. Brunel has designed a three-year CPD programme for 120 ESAB staff that will facilitate a strategic shift in the mindset of their middle management from being product-centric to customer-focused.
