Summary
I joined the Physics Department at Brunel in 1986 and have been a member of what is now the School of Engineering & Design since 2000. I am a particle physicist, working at CERN, with research interests in other areas such as holography and grid computing. I am the group leader of the Centre for Sensors & Instrumentation and a member of the Energy and Environmental Sustainability Collaborative Research Network. I am currently one of the three Deputy Heads of the School and the Chair of the School Research Ethics Committee. I am active in Physics and Engineering outreach and am a member of STEMNET. I am a Chartered Physicist.
