Optimising BitTorrent for P2P Video Streaming

Optimising BitTorrent for P2P Video Streaming: Video streaming in a network environment can be time consuming. The aim of this project is to provide a toolkit that can dynamically utilise multiple sources for efficient video streaming. Specifically, the objectives are:

  1. To provide a scalable network infrastructure using peer-to-peer (P2P) technologies.
  2. To utilise the BitTorrent technique for efficient video streaming in a P2P network environment.
  3. To optimise BitTorrent with genetic algorithms for effective video streaming taking into account variable network performance parameters such as bandwidth.
