Engineering Doctorate (EngD)
What is an EngD?
The EngD scheme is a 4 year programme combining environmentally-focused research with industrial experience, along with personal and professional development. Each research engineer (RE - as the candidates are known) is based within a sponsoring company and attends the university for taught modules. The sponsor provides a suitable research project and jointly supervises the RE with Brunel academics. The Brunel EngD scheme is funded by EPSRC.
