Applying for a studio flat
Applying for a studio flat 2013/14
To be eligible to apply for a studio flat you are required to be an enrolled full time student for the entire session. The Accommodation Office may request evidence from your department. Partners must stay in residence for the duration of the Tenancy Agreement. Regular checks are made and if your partner is not living with you on a full time basis you will be required to vacate the studio flat.
Couples, irrespective of their sexual orientation, may apply for this accommodation provided they are either married or in a long-term stable relationship.
There is no family accommodation available. Students with children/dependants cannot live in the studio flats. When both partners are registered students of the University, each may qualify for occupancy of a studio flat in their own right.
