Best Business Meeting Venue
Brunel University has been awarded 'Best Business Meeting Venue' in the West London Business Awards.
The Awards, currently the only business awards in West London, celebrate business excellence and showcase the innovative and entrepreneurial character of the local area. Entries were encouraged from companies in all sectors.
Brunel has invested £400 million in buildings and infrastructure in the last decade and can now provide conferencing spaces suitable for a variety of events, from international conferences to weddings. Venues include the Antonin Artaud Building, Eastern Gateway Building, Hamilton Centre and Lecture Centre, and the Lancaster Suite offers a 70 bedroom hotel.
Investors in People
The Accommodation Office is proud to say that as part of the RCCS department we were awarded the IiP accreditation in September 2008. Investors in People is a prestigious national benchmark of good practice, setting the standard for organisations to improve their business performance.
UUK Code of Practice
Brunel University is signed up to the UUK Code of Practice. The Code outlines best practice and provides benchmarks for the management and quality of student housing in the Higher Education sector. A full version of the UUK Code of Practice is available to download from the Universities UK website.
The Frank Buttle Trust Quality Mark
The Frank Buttle Trust Quality Mark was set up to recognise Higher Education institutions that go that extra mile to support students who have been in public care. The Accommodation Office is pleased to have contributed to Brunel University in maintaining this quality mark. More information can be found in the University Accommodation policy.
