Applying for next session 2013/14
All returning undergraduate, postgraduate and research students
Single room applications for session 2013/14 are available online. The deadline for application forms and payment of the £400 booking fee was Thursday 24 January 2013. Returning students can still complete applications for session 2013/14, however, payment of the £400 booking fee is not required at this stage as your application would be added to the waiting list.
The Housing Office is also available to help and assist students with local housing, and you can contact them by email.
Undergraduates
Campus accommodation is allocated in accordance with the University Accommodation Policy. The Policy gives priority to students in their first year of registration in full-time study for the full session and then to final year students. It is reviewed annually for the next academic session.
Applications are now available online; all eligible students will be emailed a reminder to apply in December.
I may be going on to a placement in 2013/14 but haven’t secured a placement yet, what do I do?
Postgraduates
Postgraduate students on Social Work and NITH courses are eligible to apply for campus accommodation for their second year of study.
Applications are now available online; all eligible students will be emailed a reminder to apply in December.
Researchers
Campus accommodation for full-time and full-fee paying research students is available during the 2nd and 3rd year of research.
Applications are now available online; all eligible students will be emailed a reminder to apply in December.
Part-time students
Part-time students are unable to apply for accommodation on campus due to high demand from full-time students. However if you would like to add your details to a waiting list please email accom-uxb@brunel.ac.uk with your details.
Students in continuation
Students in continuation (part or full session) are classed as low priority due to their fee status and campus accommodation offers are subject of availability.
Temporarily withdrawn and in abeyance students
Students who are temporarily withdrawn or in abeyance but are returning for session 2013/14 as full-time full fee paying students are eligible to apply for campus accommodation. Before you are able to apply online for a campus room you will need to supply the Accommodation Office with evidence from your department that you will be returning as a full-time, full-fee paying student and to which level of study you are expected to return. The Accommodation Office can provide your department with a form to complete and return to us. You can request one by emailing accom-uxb@brunel.ac.uk. Once we have received this confirmation the Accommodation Office will activate your online application for you to submit. It is important that you do this as early as possible to ensure that you do not miss the application deadlines.
