On Friday 11th November 2016 staff and students came together on campus to commemorate Armistice Day.

The Archives looks after various war memorials which were able to be removed from former campuses of Brunel University London, Osterley and Runnymede, when the sites were sold. For the first time, these were able to be incorporated into the service. They were really appreciated with a lot of people before and after the service taking a closer look and reading the names.

If anyone would like any further information about these memorials we would be happy to hear from you.

The stories of over 100 Borough Road College students and staff who perished during WW1 have been made available on our website as part of a First World War Project completed in 2014. You can search these profiles here: http://www.brunel.ac.uk/services/archives-management/ww1-profiles
