Freshers and Students
Welcome
Congratulations to all 2012 Freshers and returners. We're looking forward to meeting you all during the academic year. The Arts Centre's classes and activities are open to everyone on campus, whatever course you are studying.
Student annual membership is £19, which covers the cost of all your class tuition during the year, and you only pay this once, no matter how many classes you take in 2012/13. Some classes have a small materials charge, and this is shown in the course description.

Music Awards
Who can apply?
All Brunel Undergraduate and Postgraduate students can apply for a Music Award audition, except those who are taking music performance as part of their academic course. The Awards are open to both singers and instrumentalists.
What do Music Awards offer?
Award Holders have all or part of the cost of their individual music tuition covered throughout their period of study at Brunel.
There are many opportunities for performing during the academic year, both as an individual, and as a member of one of the many ensembles the Arts Centre offers.
Although most concerts are on campus, students are often invited to take part in performances within Hillingdon, and many of the University's annual events (such as One World Week, RAG and the end-of-year FACE festival) feature Award student performers.
When are the auditions?
In 2013, the auditions will be held on Tuesday 24 September and Wednesday 25 September 2013 only, organised by the Arts Centre, and the deadline for applications is 4pm on Friday 20 September 2013.
See details of our weekly music activities.
