Academic liaison

The Graduate School plays a key role in supporting postgraduate education at Brunel (as set out in the current Graduate School plan). It provides a home academic school for research students registered in the Specialist Research Institutes (excluding the Institute for the Environment) as well as administration and taught academic modules for the New Route PhD programme. The Graduate School (working closely with the Assistant Registrar for Graduate Studies) is also highly active in policy development around postgraduate matters at university-level, both through the work of the Graduate School Board and through representation on relevant committees and groups. The Graduate School also facilitates Brunel's involvement in sector-wide surveys of postgraduate and researcher experience.
