E-books

E-books can be accessed electronically 24/7 and are usually online versions of print books we have in stock. Many of our e-books are purchased individually based on recommendations from reading lists, however, we also have a number of subject-specific collections. We also have a number of online reference tools that you may find useful.

Accessing e-books

Whether accessing an individual title or a collection you will need to login to the e-Library.  This link is found on the Library homepage; simply enter your network username and password.

Finding e-books on the Library catalogue

Individual titles can be found from the Library catalogue. To search only for e-books, tick the box ‘Search only Electronic Books’, then search by title or keyword. You will be shown a list of available titles, with a link to 'Electronic access'.  Follow this link to open the e-book.
