E-books
We have a growing collection of e-books that can be accessed 24/7. They are often online versions of print books we have in stock, however we also have a number of subject-specific and reference collections.
Finding e-books
Individual titles can be found quickly and easily from Summon, our one-stop-shop library search tool. Either search by the title of the book you need, or if you're doing a keyword search, enter the words that best describe the subject you're looking for, eg sport psychology.
Your search might return a high number of results. To narrow this down to e-books, look at the 'Refine your search' options in the left hand menu and select:
- under Content Type, select 'Book/eBook', and
- under Refine your search, select 'Items with full text online'
Now, to open the book you need, follow the 'Full Text Online' link.
Alternatively, to browse our subject-specific collections, follow the 'E-book collections' link to the left.
Logging In
Remember, to access e-resources of any kind, you will need to login to the e-Library. This link is found on the Library homepage; simply enter your network username and password.
Getting Help
If you need help finding or using e-books or any other type of information, contact your Subject Liaison Librarian. Alternatively, ask us a question online at Got a Question.
