Brunel University Library is based in the Bannerman Centre, at the heart of the campus, and contains the majority of resources needed to successfully work and study here. This includes nearly half a million books, and c20,000 journal titles - mostly electronic, We have 1200 study spaces, including bookable group study rooms and c350 open access PCs. The Library is open 24 hours a day for most of the academic year which, with the breadth of electronic material, means you should always be able to find the information you need.

To help you find information we provide a number of services from your desktop:

  • Summon: a simple way od searching for Library resources whether these are print or electronic, books or journals.
  • LibAnswers: our knowledge base will provide you with the answer to any question that you have, when you want it, or allow you to ask one of our staff directly.
  • Talis Aspire: our reading list software gives you access to the recommended reading for your module through a simple interface. It gives you links to electronic material or to information on the availability of print material that is in our collection.

Each academic school has a Subject Liaison Librarian who is there to look after your information needs. A list of these staff is available on the website. They will be happy to answer any questions that you have and help you find the information you need. We look forward to seeing you soon!
