Research resources

As part of your research, you will want to do a literature review and bibliography. A very good way to start a literature review is to use one or more abstract databases. Using these databases, you can identify relevant journal articles for your research topic, and probably find references to other documents, such as conference papers and technical reports.

The subject gateways web page offers an array of broad subjects. Select the appropriate subject, and then use the link to Databases to display a select list of databases for your subject. With some subjects, the databases are arranged by topic. With other subjects, abstract databases and e-journal collections are listed separately. Your subject gateway will also give you access to web resources and information about other libraries.

Depending on your research topic, you might also be interested in using: official publications, special collections or statistics.
