Finding local employment
It can be hard to know where to start jobhunting locally, so here are some relevant web links and some resources available from the Placement and Careers Centre (PCC)
Local newspapers

Local newspapers can prove to be a valuable resource for job vacancies of all sorts, both permanent and part-time/casual posts. It's always worth having a look at them. Here is a selection of the local papers for the Middlesex/Bucks area:

A range of services are provided including information about employers in your area who have adopted the 'two ticks' disability symbol. This symbol identifies employers who are positive about employing disabled people
Libraries
Brunel University Library

Databases available via the Brunel University Library website contain information on companies and industries. These include market research reports and company profiles in Business Source Premier, GMID and Mintel
