SITS (Data Management)

SITS (Data Management) is responsible for the development of the University’s student records system (SITS) and for providing user support and training.  This includes development and support for eVision, the web-based face of SITS.

SITS (Data Management) ensures the completion of statutory external returns including student HESA and HESES, and provides internal data to administrative departments and schools through the Business Objects/Infoview reporting suite.

The office is also responsible for the set-up and bulk processing of student administration processes including: progression and roll-on, fee setting and generation, scholarships and student funding processes.

SITS (Data Management) encompasses three teams:

• SITS Development
• SITS Operations
• SITS Reporting

All teams have their own distinct areas of responsibility, however all share a common ground; the SITS student records system
