Browsers
Blackboard Learn is compatible with most leading browsers, see here for more details see the Supported Browsers & Operating Systems Page
Please ensure you have Blackboard Learn added as a Trusted Site.
Adding u-Link to your “Allowed”/“Trusted Sites”
From the menu bar select Tools.
Select Internet Options …
Click on the second tab, Security.
Click on Trusted Sites, followed by Sites…
Uncheck the box labelled Require service verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.
Enter *.brunel.ac.uk and then click Add.
Click OK.
Under Security level for this zone, move the slider to Medium Low.
Click OK.
For students with Blackboard Learn problems, please use Firefox as it is generally fasters at running Blackboard Learn
Adding Blackboard Learn to your “Allowed”/“Trusted Sites”
From the menu bar select Tools.
Select Options…
Click on the Web Features tab.
Click the first Allowed Sites button.
Enter *.brunel.ac.uk and then click Allow.
Click OK, followed by OK
Click on the 'Tools' icon on the top right.
Click on Options
Click the Under the Bonnet Tab>
Click on Content Settings
Select the Pop Ups option
Click on Add....
Java
Blackboard Learn uses Java in the system. Please ensure you have the latest version of the software on your computer.
