The University’s student records system, SITS, has been used at Brunel University since 1996. It holds information on everything from UCAS applications, to student module choices, to student fees, to staff job titles.
Access to the database is given to all staff who require it, tailored appropriately to your specific areas of responsibility or interest.
Different departments are responsible for different data within the system; for example, the Admissions team are responsible for all of the admissions data held within SITS, from applications to clearance checks. However, SITS Data Management has control and ownership of the overall data structure(s) and integrity.
If you require access to the SITS system, please submit an access request form and we will be in touch with you. For more information on how to use the system, please have a look at our training videos.
