Our Indoor Athletic Centre is a climate-controlled facility that allows athletes to train regardless of the weather. It features a running track, jumping pits, and throwing areas. Plus we also have weight rooms, fitness studios, and other amenities.

The IAC is used by a variety of athletes, including track and field athletes, sprinters, jumpers, throwers, and cross-country runners. They are also used by recreational athletes and people who are training for fitness.

Here are some additional details about the facilities that are typically found in an indoor athletic centre:

  • Running track: The running track is the most important feature of an indoor athletic centre. It is typically made of a synthetic material, that provides good traction and shock absorption. The track is 100 meters long and has 6 lanes.
  • Jumping pit: The jumping pit is used for long jump, triple jump. They are filled with sand or foam to cushion the athlete's landing.
  • Throwing areas: The throwing areas are used for shot put, discus throw, javelin throw. They are surrounded by safety nets to protect spectators and other athletes.
  • Weights areas: The weights areas are  used for strength training. It typically has a variety of weight machines and free weights.
  • Fitness studio: The fitness studio is used for aerobic exercise and other types of fitness training. 

In addition to these basic facilities, some indoor athletic centres also have:

  • A massage room
  • A physiotherapy clinic

These additional facilities can make an indoor athletic centre a more comprehensive and appealing destination for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
