Student Sport
Union of Brunel Students (UBS) has a fantastic record of achievement in sport on both a competitive and non-competitive level. Brunel has produced many famous sporting heros including Audley Harrison, Kelly Sotherton, James Cracknell and most recently GB sprinter Montell Douglas. Despite the high standards regularly achieved, all our Clubs are open to all new members irrespective of ability or experience.
Membership is open to all students, whether you are trying a sport for the first time or you are an experienced player. We compete against other Universities throughout the country, affiliated with BUCS (formerly BUSA), alongside the RFU, FA and numerous other national governing bodies. There are also non-competitve Clubs available as well as intramural opportunities available. From mainstream to extreme the Union facilitate, develop and fund the clubs in order to provide sporting opportunities for all.
