Guest speakers: Dr Thomas Croft, University of Sydney, Australia and Dr Laura Harvey, Education, Brunel University.
Dr Croft is in the UK for a short period and Laura has recently joined us at Brunel. The first paper offers a legal approach to some of the issues that are of concern to youth practitioners, and focuses on a methodological interest for members of the Centre. The second paper scrutinizes the way concern about ‘sexting’ is constituted in the UK. This double bill provides opportunity to explore the collaborative potential between Dr Croft, the Centre and colleagues from Brunel Law School and the School of Sport & Education whom we hope will join us. It will be followed by a wine reception.
