Knowing Young People: The politics of researching sexuality with young people' event
''The second 'Knowing Young People': The politics of researching sexuality with young people' event, hosted by the Centre for Youth Work Studies on Sept 19th went very well. Participants came from Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Ireland and Wales, as well as the London Borough of Hillingdon and commented on 'another great day' and that it 'shows what a rigorous and exciting academic area sexuality research is'.
The final session was an International Keynote by Dr Mary Lou Rasmussen pictured above, which was a launch of both the Brunel Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Sex and Gender and of the year's seminar programme for the Centre for Youth Work Studies. The Centre has won University funding for its Seminar Series this year which is called Hedonism: Young People, Sex, Drugs and Alcohol and hopes to bring a range of disciplinary perspectives to these Health topics. ''
