Lesley Wilson graduated as an occupational therapist from Oxford in 1982 and completed her MSc at St George's Hospital Medical School in 1995. She lectures at all levels on the BSc and MSc programmes and is currently the programme leader for the MSc Occupational Therapy (pre-registration) which she developed in 2007. Previously she was the programme leader for the part-time BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy from 1998 to 2005. Her clinical background is in physical and neurological disability, paediatrics, community work and senior management within the NHS and Social Services. She has taught and presented in Europe and beyond, having a strong interest in the global perspective of occupational therapy. Her research interests include occupational science, the mind-body interaction, spirituality and the connections between mental and physical health linked to occupation.Responsibilities
