We would like to say a huge thank you to all the members of staff from the School of Health Sciences and Social Care who kindly supported the Children in Need Soup Kitchen today, approximately £120 was raised in an hour!!September 2011

Frontiers in Immunology promises to exert a paradigm shift in immunological publishing. It is a new and novel way to disseminate research findings and facilitate communication, both among scientists as well as the community at large. In the tradition of Sir Edward Jenner, the publishing format is “open access,” meaning that the author pays for the publication rather than the reader, so that the publication is freely available to all - worldwide.Professor Rob Evans is currently involved in the organisation of a joint meeting in 2012 of IBDG with the UK’s Iron-Sulphur Group
In 2013, Rob is joint organiser, with Professor Kaila Srai from University College London, of the biennial meeting of the International BioIron Society (IBIS)International academic achievement
Dr Sabrina Tosi has been nominated a member of the Board of Professors of the International PhD Programme in Immunopharmacology at the University of Palermo.In vivo summer school in Immunology
