Visual Computing
This research theme is concerned with the study of broad areas of computer vision, graphics and visualisation. Current research includes the following: human-centered video analysis (including dynamic face recognition, gesture recognition and visual context computing), sport video annotation, video surveillance, road sign recognition, texture synthesis, non-photorealistic rendering, image inpainting, and amplifiable bi-directional texture functions for 3D high fidelity images.
