Full course Specialist Community Public Health Nursing PGDip and MSc Module details Develop the knowledge, skills and competencies required to practise safely and effectively as a specialist community public health nurse in a different field of practice to that in which the student qualified. These fields of practice included: health visiting; occupational health nursing and school nursing. Search for health needs within a new field of practice. Demonstrate the ability to stimulate an awareness of health needs for client groups within the new field of practice. Recognise how to influence policies affecting health. Undertake the facilitation of health enhancing activities.
