About Cathy

Cathy joined Brunel University in 1997 after teaching Physical Education in two local secondary schools and is one of the Physical Education subject tutors in the School of Sport and Education. She ran the PGCert Secondary Education (Physical Education) course for twelve years whilst also leading several modules on the undergraduate BSc Secondary Education and Physical Education with QTS course. Cathy then acted as Deputy Head of School with responsibility for Teaching and Learning for two years before recently returning to a role as a year leader on our undergraduate Physical Education degree programme. She continues to lead several modules on this course, whilst also lecturing on the PGCert Secondary Education programme.
