The research team, led by Professor Carole Leathwood of the Institute for Policy Studies in Education (IPSE) at London Metropolitan University, included recent Brunel appointee Dr Ayo Mansaray, and Dr Sumi Hollingworth at London South Bank University (both at IPSE at the time), and social research company, TNS BMRB.
