Brunel Education becomes its own Department in August

As part of the university-wide Transformational Change Project, a new Department of Education will be established on 1st August 2014. The Department of Education will be situated within the new College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences, a location intended to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and joint activity in teaching and research.

Former Student Brings Britain’s Basketball Stars Back to Brunel

A former Brunel student has returned to the university to put on a one day showcase fundraiser for British basketball.

Sam Neter, a first class Sport Sciences student who graduated in 2008, now runs leading UK basketball website Hoopsfix.com. On Sunday June 15 Neter, staged the inaugural Hoopsfix All-Star Classic in aid of the Hoopsfix Foundation – a newly-launched not-for-profit initiative dedicated to helping grow the game in the UK.
