About Dawood

Dawood began his PhD degree studies under the supervision of Dr Vassil Girginov and Dr Laura Hills in November 2009.  He is researching the strategy for the development of disabled sports in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a project for which he has external sponsorship.  Prior to studying at Brunel, Dawood was awarded a BSc degree in Sport Science from UAE University and an MSc degree in Sport Disability from the Alexandria University in Egypt.

Dawood has presented papers at the recent ESAM and ICSEMIS Conferences.  

Prior to commencing his studies, Dawood was a member of the management team at the Al-Ain Disability Club in the UAE.
