About Harry
An international student from Singapore, Harry completed his undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Liverpool John Moores University, obtaining 1st class honours. After successfully applying for a studentship, Harry commenced his PhD studies under the supervision of Dr Costas Karageorghis and Dr Daniel Bishop. He is researching the effects of music in the domain of sport and exercise. Harry has published in peer reviewed journals and presented at numerous conferences including BASES Student Conference (2007); 6th International Conference of Sport, Leisure and Ergonomics (2007) and the Music, Health and Happiness Conference (2008). In addition, he has served as a reviewer for three international peer-reviewed journals. Harry won the VC Travel Prize in 2007 and 2008.
Harry has been involved in sport all his life. He is particularly keen on soccer and running. He has competed in many races including the Singapore Marathon and in 2003, the Army half-marathon. This interest led him to pursue an education in sport and exercise sciences.
Harry is also an accomplished salsa dancer. He has performed and taught nationwide in the UK as well as on the international stage in Ireland, Germany and Poland. Dance is his other passion and Harry is currently working on his first piece of choreography.

- Sport and exercise motivation, particularly how to encourage people to live an active and healthy lifestyle;
