Anthropology Student Society
Created for both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Anthropology, the Anthropology Student Society is a student-led group that promotes social interaction amongst students, and between students and staff. The Society is typically geared around film screenings; fieldwork outings to places of anthropological interest in Britain, such as the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford, the Notting Hill Carnival and the British Museum; talks given by anthropologists on their fieldwork experiences and by people who employ ethnographic methods in the workplace; career advice; and social get-togethers.
