Research
Research Overview
Although my interests are quite broad and diverse, my main research focus lies in the areas of international macroeconomics and international finance, especially on current account dynamics and trade/capital flows. My current research also explores issues related to voter participation in elections and candidate spending. I am also doing work related to the economic costs of fear of terrorism, and also on the effects of corruption and financial development on growth.
