I chose Brunel for my postgraduate study mainly because of the SAP technology integration within the course. In addition to this, the course also offered the opportunity of gaining the SAP TERP 10 certification. Moreover, the lecturers on the course are well known for their expertise in their field of study.

Brunel University has a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere with its diverse students. Living on campus gave me an extra advantage, because all facilities are available on campus, including bank, sports centre, medical centre, arts centre, and various food outlets. All the staff on campus are very helpful. Uxbridge, the nearest town where the shopping centres and the tube station are located, is only a 20 minute walk (or 10 minutes by bus) from the Brunel campus. Central London is only 45 minutes from Uxbridge by tube.

Brunel Accommodation is clean, convenient, and offers competitive rent rates. I used to live in a standard hall, Clifton, in which I shared the bathroom and kitchen area with ten other flatmates. These shared areas are always cleaned during weekdays.

I have some useful tips for new students: 1) Keep your balance between studying and enjoying your time. Brunel International usually organises various fun trips. 2) Build a strong friendship network with your classmates and flatmates. This is useful to reduce the homesick feeling that many students get. 3) Develop your soft skills by attending some useful workshops and seminars given by the In-Sessional English team, the Brunel Graduate school, and the ASK team. 4) Join some societies or sports clubs at Brunel to make friends. Prepare yourself to enjoy one of the most memorable journeys in your life at Brunel University.
