I am currently on my penultimate placement at St Thomas' hospital in London, where I am working with the musculoskeletal outpatient and hydrotherapy team. I feel the modules leading up to my placement prepared me well. Although hydrotherapy was not covered at university, it has been really interesting developing new skills and knowledge. I also enjoyed the independence I was given whilst on placement, which has really improved my confidence and allowed me to practice all the skills learnt at university.
Following my degree, I hope to work as a band five physiotherapist in a London hospital to gain more experience and skills. Ideally I would like to work as a rotational band five so I can continue experiencing all aspects of physiotherapy, such as neurology, respiratory, cardiology and musculoskeletal outpatients.
