After receiving a BSc in Psychology from Reading University, and an MSc in Applied Sport Psychology, choosing to study my PhD at Brunel – a university which allowed me to combine my previous qualifications and experiences and join a department of internationally recognised researchers and professors – was a logical decision.
Since starting studying at Brunel, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The PGR community in my department is outgoing and social, providing me with the network of support necessary for completing a PhD (and staying sane in the process!). My supervisors have been nothing but supportive, showing a general interest and passion for my research projects.
The welcoming, friendly atmosphere among the different faculties within Brunel has also provided me with the excellent opportunity to collaborate with researchers from different departments, and to share expertise. I would recommend Brunel wholeheartedly to any future PGR students.
